BLURB FROM GOODREADS:
Caitlyn Davis has an unusual gift. She knows exactly how people feel. Everyone wears a mask, but she sees the hidden truth. This ability has changed her life, both for the better and worse. She can choose to ignore what she sees…but what happens when it involves the guy she loves?
Eric Shore knew getting involved with a girl who could read people was risky, but he couldn’t help himself. Caitlyn is gorgeous and he loves being with her. Their relationship is going great…until she tells him that his step-brother and star basketball player, Connor, is doing drugs. Having looked up to the guy for years, Eric just can’t buy it. Things only get worse when Caitlyn questions the true nature of Eric’s favorite teacher.
The first year at college is supposed to be amazing, but theirs is off to a rocky start. As masks are peeled away, secrets will be exposed, dangers will be revealed, and both must decide out of the people closest to them, who is telling the truth…and who is being two-faced.
Eric and Caity is… so… badass and awesome and OH MY GOSHNI LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH.
Melissa Pearl is one of my favorite author, I’ve said that before already. And this book is one of the many reasons. Two Faced is jam packed with action, mystery, romance and thrill. I don’t know how she did that, but she did and it’s incredible! All the elements of a satisfying sequel is here and I was left craving for more Caity and Eric.
So.. Caity’s story continues. At True Colors, we have seen her struggle about this gift of her by herself. But now, she has Eric. And she completely accepted the gift that has been given to her and even though she’s not looking for trouble, trouble has it’s way of finding her. In this sequel, we will see Caity grow as a the story’s main character. I remember asking for some growing up on Caitys part in my review of True Colors and Melissa gave that. She even thrown some Eric POV’s! Yep, she loves us. We are spoiled readers.
I really enjoyed being inside Eric’s head. I think him giving his voice about what is happening is a great addition to the series. I honestly can’t wait for more from him. Two Faced is plot driven and it will keep you at the edge of your seat. It will make you think and you will surely find yourself solving the mystery along with Caity and Eric.
And lastly, brace yourselves because this is jut me fangirling about Eric and Caity.
Can I say hello HOTNESS and SEXYNESS. I don’t know if Melissa Pearl will read my review but if she does, this is me wishing to Melissa to give us (or just me but I know I’m not the only one who want this) a novella maybe or just a chapter, really, where its just Caity and Eric and there is no bad guy’s ass to kick. But this is just me wishing (or begging idk)
Overall, Two Faced is an evidence that this series is a hit. It’s utterly satisfying and the plot was well thought the characters are more brilliant than before and I can’t get enough! I can’t wait for more Eric and Caity in the future!
